HEY THERE. WHAT'S YOUR NAME?[/b]
Bartholomew Cameron Kinnon. I know, lame, right? It’d be easier for everyone if you just call me Otto. Seriously.
OH, NICE NAME. AND HOW OLD ARE YOU?[/b]
I’m twenty years young, born on April first (oh, shut up).
YA' KNOW, YOU KINDA LOOK LIKE SOMEONE?[/b]
I’ve had several people (including my sister) tell me that I look like Martin Broda’s long-lost identical twin. Not a bad comparison, really. Same brown hair, similar blue eyes, however I, unlike Martin, have no piercings. Come to think of it, our hair’s cut a lot alike, too. Our style’s pretty similar, you know, awesome graphic tees, not-too-terribly-skinny jeans, hoodies, hats (ski caps, beanies, flat bills, the occasional fedora), Vans, Converse. Comes with the band guy territory, I guess.

SO, WHAT DO YOU LIKE?[/b]
I had a friend in high school who told me my thoughts could be easily sorted into four categories: sports, music, girls, and food. It’s pretty true, actually. I like soccer and Australian football, love listening to and playing music, and, well, girls and food can both be delicious. What else can I say?
ALRIGHT, NOW WHAT ABOUT DISLIKES?[/b]
For starters, country music. Good. Lord. Maybe it’s the twang, maybe it’s the fact that the not-word “ain’t” is overly-abused, or maybe it’s just the style of the whole thing. I don’t know. I just know I can’t listen to it. I absolutely can’t stand people who make everyone else’s business their business. It’s like, get a life, you know? Which reminds me: conceited people. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Don’t cross it. And speaking of line-crossing, nobody calls me Bartholomew except my mom. I hate it.
I SEE. DO YOU HAVE ANY FEARS?[/b]
Laugh, and I swear I’ll hit you. Ever since watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I have this irrational fear of white rabbits, especially the red-eyed ones. I’d prefer if that stayed on the down-low. I mean WAY down low.
THAT'S PRETTY GNARLY. WHAT ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS?[/b]
I’m not bad looking, does that count? Anyway, I’ve always counted my ability to pick up almost any instrument and figure it out a strength (I’ll always love my bass and drums the best, though). I’m also pretty keen on my ability to never back down from a debate, especially when I
AND, YOUR WEAKNESSES?[/b]
First one’s pretty easy: I’m a softie, especially when it comes to my little sister. Even though she’s back in Ocala, if she needed me, I’d drop everything and go back. Same goes for anyone else I might care about, which leads to weakness number two. Yeah, I’m loud and pretty easy to get along with, but I could count the number of real friends I’ve had in my lifetime on one hand. I’m not the best at letting people in, like, really letting them in. On a lighter note: my instruments. If they got lost or stolen, I think I might actually cry.
EVERYONE HAS SECRETS. I'M SURE YOU HAVE SOME, RIGHT?[/b]
Well duh, don’t we all? I’ve been in fights. Lots of them. I even started some of them. I usually got dragged into them but…still, I could have walked away. It’s not something I like to think about.
IF YOU COULD CHOOSE AN ANIMAL, A SONG, A COLOR, AND A WORD TO DESCRIBE YOU, WHAT WOULD YOURS BE?[/b]
My animal would be a wolf. Accustomed to a pack environment, gets along well with others, but could just as easily go off of its own if it needed to. My song is definitely Geeving by Abandon All Ships. It just really sums up how insane stuff can get, so insane that you just have to blow it all off for a while when it gets unbearable. My color’s probably silver. It’s shiny, and pretty attractive, but not incredibly decipherable beyond that. My word’s “arbitrary”. Ha. Probably didn’t think I knew a fancy word like that, did you?

CAN YOU GIVE ME A LITTLE BACKGROUND ABOUT YOURSELF?[/b]
Sure. I was born and raised in Ocala, Florida. I’m hoping to be the second most awesome thing to come outta there (A Day To Remember, anyone?). I lived there with my mom and my sister, Ruthie, until recently, when I moved out here. My mom and dad separated when Ruthie was two, so I don’t see much of him, which is all right with me. Ruthie’s the one who gave me the name “Otto”. When she first started talking, she couldn’t say my name (dude, I can barely say my name), and it somehow came out as “Otto”.

WHY ARE YOU AT PALM WOODS?[/b]
I’m here to hopefully start a non-predictable band and be the next big thing in rock music.
OH, SO WHAT GOT YOU INTO THAT?[/b]
Well, I’ve been playing drums since I was around fourteen. When I was seventeen, one of my buddies told me that I should consider taking up a “slightly more portable” instrument, so I learned to play bass. I love them both equally now. I'm not terrible at singing, either, but I like playing music more than singing to it.
ARE YOU PLEASED WITH THE WAY YOU ARE?[/b]
I’d say so. Sure, I’ve got some stuff I’d like to change, but hey, it’s all about the journey, not the destination.
