“Okay you're right bad analogy, but it was the first one that came to mind and you just proved my point in a way by saying that you didn't wanna ask them. Who's to say the guys arn’t afraid of what you might say?" This looked like it could be checkmate, but again this was Mandi she was dealing with. Nothing could really be that easy, unless she too could see that Jo had a very valid point. “So what do you say I ask around for you, casually of course. You might be surprised to learn that more then one of them might just have a thing for you." It was a fun idea, to think that her best chick friend could end up with another one of her best guy friends, it was like the beginning story line of a great romance movie or something. Naturally this idea only encouraged Jo to keep with her idea of finding out first hand what the guys thought.

When Jo had offered to talk to the guys, Mandi sighed out of relief. "Thank you so much Jo." she said with a smile on her face. She just wasn't up to the task of asking a boy how they felt about her.
Sitting down in the make up chair, Mandi brushed some strands of baby blue hair out of her eyes. Baby blue and a pinkish purple color was now her new hair color. She rather enjoyed it actually, deciding to keep it like that for a while. "So why the sudden interest in finding a boyfriend for me?" she questioned the girl in front of her. For once, Mandi had to feel as if she was in a cop show.
"So you have somebody to go double dating with?" Mandi asked before Jo could even answer. Being the third wheel was mainly what she did. Yes she didn't like it. Yes she hated it when couples were all lovey dovey right in front of her. But she was use to it. And if Jo got her a boyfriend, then finally she wouldn't feel so alone.

“Well no that's not the main reason, but you know that would be fun!" Suddenly Jo was brimming, not only had her friend just allowed her to proceed with her plans to ask the guys what they thought, but she had also planted the idea of double dating into her head. Sure one on one dating was fun, but how much more fun could it be with two couples. “I really just want to see you step out of your shell and dating is a good way to do that...but I'm not going to lie double dating sounds like an incredible idea!" It was all beginning to fall into place, now all Jo had to do was find out who Mandi was interested in. “So Mandi-Cakes, which one is it? Who is the apple of your eye? I'd really like to start with a guy you can see yourself with." It was amazing how Jo had only come back for a small break from the set and already so much progress had been made. Hopefully Mandi would just cooperate for the next part as well so that they could continue to make head way.

Mandi laughed when Jo smiled at the idea. Next time she would just keep her mouth quiet. Now here was why Mandi loved Jo, as a sister. For no reason at all, she was willing to help Mandi out of her shell. Only a true friend would do that.
Now when she had asked who Mandi could see herself with, she paused. Obviously Kendall wasn't an option. Jo had dated him then they broke up, and she was sure Jo would murder her if she asked out Kendall. James was out also. She had worked him once. And only once. He freaked out about every little thing and was picky about what went on his face and hair.
Only two people were left now. Mandi mostly played games with Carlos. So she had never thought about dating him. And then there was Logan. She basically begged him all of the time to help her with homework. Not only because she needed it. But because she never spent as much time with him as she did with the other guys. And he was cute. Always a plus.
"Well there is Logan..." Mandi admitted.

Jo could feel her whole face light up at the mention of Logan's name. Yes!! She actually has a guy in mind! This is the best news ever! I'm just certain Logan's into Mandi! Suddenly there were a thousand possible scenarios of how the two would end up together running through her mind, but none of them could come true until Jo got to work on getting Logan to see Mandi for what she was, a totally datable young lady. “Aww you two would be SOO cute!! I cannot wait to see you two dating! And believe me you two will date!" Hopping up out of her chair, Jo waltzed over to the door, not sure how much more time she had left on her break. “And with that it's settled, meet up with me after work today and we can get to work on setting up a more personal setting for you and Logan to share a moment in." Not giving Mandi time to protest she vanished hoping that Mandi wouldn't bail last minute.
