Peering down one empty hall after the next Jo was trying her best to navigate Roque Records. It wasn’t often that she had the time to just drop on by, which is why she had almost no idea where it was she was going or for that matter where it was she needed to be. Wanting to surprise Kendall for a change she made the choice to hit his place of work, but this wasn’t like the mall where they had maps posted everywhere for her to keep track of where she was. You think there’d be some music playing or something... For a moment the lost blonde considered texting Kendall and asking him to come find her but that would ruin the surprise, then again so would him leaving for the day and not even knowing she had been there.

Digging her phone out of her pocket Jo brought up her contacts and flipped to Kendall. What should I even tell him? ‘Hey wanted to surprise you, so surprise I’m lost in your studio...save me!’ Yeah that’ll be a good one... Without any other kind of real option she punched in the message and was about to hit send when a familiar face crossed her path down one of the many halls. “James, hey!” Deleting the message Jo re-placed her phone in her pocket and all but ran up to James. “You have NO idea how glad I am to see you, this place is like a maze!” Chewing on her bottom lip she realized how stupid that might seem to someone who was here almost all the time. “So anyway, I was looking to surprise Kendall, is he still here, or did I miss him?”

Walking down the halls, James Diamond and the rest of Big Time Rush finally got a break from singing for once. Well it was more of like a lunch break, but it still counted none the less. James had just finished eating lunch and was going to enjoy his last few minutes of his break by reading a magazine.

Before he was going to go back, James decided to grab himself a bottle water. Once he grabbed his said bottle, he was going to head back to the small lounge break room area place...After he made a turn, James heard a very familiar sounding voice calling his name. 'Okay that voice sounds really familiar' James merely thought to himself. Turning around the familiar voice matched with a familiar face, it was Jo Taylor.

"Jo!" he practically exclaimed as he walked back over to her, giving her a hug. Friends could give friends hugs without it being weird. "Hey how have you been?" he asked her. Upon hearing her question, James paused for a minute.

"Uh I think Kendall went back to the condo to get his guitar or something" he said with a shrug.

Hugging James back she was really happy to have received such a warm greeting, she would never grow weary of seeing all of her friends. Going three years without was rough. Steeping back so that she could better address James' question Jo smiled at him honestly able to say, “I've been really good actually." Her smile faded just a touch when she heard that she had in fact missed Kendall, but she didn't let her bug her too much. “Well that's just too bad, I'll have to catch him later then. In the mean, I'm not keeping you away from work am I?" Looking around for any sign of Gustavo or Kelly, Jo had no desire to get James in trouble. “Because if not I'd like to know how you've been. It's been too long since my latest James Diamond update." Loosely curling her hand into a fist Jo playfully pushed her right hook into one of James' arms almost too impressed by how defined it was.

James gave Jo a smile when she said that she was doing good. That was always good to hear, he didn't want any of his friends to be upset. "Well I don't know how long it will take Kendall. Actually I don't even know what he's doing!" he exclaimed, typical James behavior. Paying attention to only himself.

"Actually I'm on break, I just got done eating lunch. So we can totally hang out. Maybe I should give you a tour so you won't get lost again." he smiled at her. "Well miss Jo Taylor, if you follow me on Scuttlebutter, you would know that right now James Diamond and the rest of Big Time Rush is currently recording their next album. And it will be huge." he told her, getting all serious at the mention of the next album. Of course it was serious business.

"So how have you been? You look great by the way, are you finished with all of the movies?"

Eager to receive a tour of the place Jo couldn't help but smile gleefully at James. He was really great at being considerate when he wanted to be. “Well Mr. Diamond now that you mention it I do recall word of your album via Scuttle Butter, that's great news. I mean your first album was pretty much all I listened too while I was away, it did wonders to combat my home sickness.” Looking back on it Jo wasn't sure how she would have made it through without their music, and a lot of her cast mates couldn't get enough of the tunes themselves. “I'm really looking forward to your new music." Not really sure how to deal with her feelings of homesickness that would forever linger even though she was now home caused Jo to feel much more greatful for the change of topic then she would have been earlier. “Oh well thanks, you look great too! I can tell you've been hitting the gym! And as a matter of fact, yes I am done with the movies...I can't even begin to explain how much fun it was! But I'm still so glad to be home." While carrying on the conversation Jo was looking all around trying to make herself more familiar with the studio so that next time she would be quicker about getting to Kendall before he left the building. “So less about me, what have you been up to aside from the music? Any new hobbies?"

"Well if our first album helped with homesickness then our next album will do much more" Was James sure that would actually happen? Nope. That was just how James was. "Well when the album comes out, I'm pretty sure that I can get you a free copy of it. I know somebody in the band" he told her, obviously joking.

"Of course I have been. Cause you gotta look good. For everything" he told her. Another moment of typical James Diamond logic. Appearance is of course 9/10 of the law. What law? His law.

James merely shrugged his shoulders to her question. "Oh you know, same old. Tanning by the pool, but now I have another pool to tan by." he said. "I haven't been doing much really. No new hobbies. What about you? Any new hobbies?"

By the sounds of it nothing had changed for James, nothing at all. It was funny how she had these expectations, ones that dealt with her coming home and LA being totally different and all of her friends being people she didn't even recognize any more, but it was just the opposite. LA was still LA and as far as she had seen all of her friends were just the same as she had left them. It left her feeling a great deal happier then she thought she ever could have. “Oh well I mean when I was working there was really no time to make new hobbies for myself. But since I'm back I plan to change that, maybe you'd like to take the adventure with me?"

Brimming over the idea of getting to try new things since she was back, Jo could almost feel the surge of excitement in a more physically manifested manner. It was like an adrenaline rush of some kind. Which was funny, she was getting a rush while talking to a member of the band Big Time Rush. Okay so maybe I'm the only one that would find that funny. “I have one picked out already! Maybe you and the guys can help me figure out how to ice skate, I've always wanted to know but never found the time really." It was odd to think that after moving to Cali she would want to learn but the boys had roots in Hockey so what better teachers?

James nodded his head to her question. "That sounds like fun." James told her. "What should we do first?" he asked, curious to hear what she had in mind. Upon hearing that she had picked out what she wanted to do first, James smiled.

James Diamond's happy demeanor slowly turned into a confused expression. It was rare when he heard that people had never gone ice skating before. But then again he practically grew up on the ice. "Really?" he questioned, crossing his arms across his chest. To be honest, he figured that she knew how to ice skate. "Yeah we can teach you how. Just tell me a day and I can tell them to go to the ice rink and it can be a surprise." he suggested.

"So you've never really been ice skating before? Well it's a good thing you asked me."

“No I’ve really never been ice skating." Jo smiled after answering, rather amused by how t was almost too obvious that James was surprised by the fact that she had never set foot on the ice before. For someone that had grown up around a hockey rink it was really not a shock to her that he was so dumbfounded by the discovery. “I just hope I'm not too much of a lost cause, I mean I just wonder if it's too late to learn. I can't imagine myself being any good at it for a long time so you may have to bear with me." It was almost laughable thinking about how bad she was going to suck when she started. but it would no doubt prove to be a great re-connecting activity for her and the guys. Something they could all laugh about later on down the road.

James laughed and shook his head at her statement. "It's not too late to learn." James simply stated. "And if you fall too many times, I'm pretty sure Kendall wouldn't mind catching you." James said, basically teasing her. Yes when he first met her, James had a crush on her. But he moved on and their relationship has been a lot better since then.

"Besides I think out of all of us, Kendall has been skating the most. I think there is a rumor that he was actually born on the ice." he told her. Was it true? He had no idea and he really wouldn't doubt it. "And then I think it's a time between me and Carlos for skating the second longest." James didn't get into hockey right away like Kendall and Carlos. He just didn't want to ruin his face was all.

Upon realizing that his break was soon coming to a close, James knew he would have to leave his friend and return to the world of singing and dancing. "Well hey, you have my number and probably everybody's as well. Just text or call me and we can figure it out from there. Cause I gotta head back." James explained. Quickly giving Jo a quick wave, he rushed back to the studio.
